Sales Development Representative

Brancoy – one of Finland’s leading Shopify agencies – is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. We work with well-known domestic and international SME brands such as Heirol, Billebeino, Mroom, and Busnel.
As an SDR, you will play a key role in growing our business by identifying and generating new business opportunities from both external and internal leads. Your main responsibility will be lead qualification and scheduling meetings with the sales team to close deals and increase revenue. In the future, there will be an opportunity to further develop your skills in various stages of the sales funnel, but initially, your focus will be on building the sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and key decision-makers, particularly focusing on e-commerce and the Shopify platform.
- Activate prospects through various sales methods, such as cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate new leads.
- Contact inbound leads.
- Actively nurture potential customers to qualify leads.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Brancoy’s services and value propositions to communicate effectively with prospects.
- Engage in conversations with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points, especially related to Shopify and e-commerce, and assess their potential as a sales opportunity.
- Schedule meetings with the sales team for qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all actions taken with leads in the CRM system.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and meeting goals.
- Continuously develop your sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development.
Expectations for the applicant:
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially in the early stages of the sales process.
- Excellent proficiency in both Finnish and English.
- A lower-level university degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Understanding of e-commerce and Shopify expertise is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish trust with prospects.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude, with a desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
